Europe, take two.

Adam and I found out through our hostel about a free walking tour we could take called the Royal London Tour. After breakfast at a little cafe next to our hostel called Shrigley’s, we waited in the reception area of our hostel for the tour guide to come by. Adam ordered a bacon sandwich for breakfast, and it was literally strips of ham on buttered bread. We are learning that unless noted, most menu items in these parts are quite literal.

The guide led us to the London Underground Tube station near our hostel and we purchased a day pass. We took the tube to Green Park and then walked to Wellington Arch. There was a large crowd of tourists from many different countries waiting for a tour, and they split us into sections and assigned us to a tour guide named Mark. He was so enthusiastic about English culture…
