Gaudy Skeletons

L'odyssée

Look at these gaudily- dressed skeletons! They are just lovely, aren’t they ?

You can only see them in Mexico thanks to a traditional festival, ‘Day of the Dead’. It is a Mexician festival in the beginning of Novembre for honouring the loved one that they have lost . It is a rather joyful festival. People wear festive clothes and dance in the ‘Day of the Dead’ for the happy afterlife! Their thoughts surprise me because in Chinese culture, death is sad and horrifying. Love the cultural difference!
